string

The API integration key from the ecomdash account. This can be found by an ecomdash customer in ecomdash by launching the relevant App Store application

(optional)
string
Media type of the body sent to the API.
string
Subscription key which provides access to this API. Found in your Profile.

Request body

Pass in an array of products to update using the Product SKUs and their new quantity on hand for the particular warehouse inventory you are updating. To get WarehouseIds, use the GET /Warehouses API call.

Response 200

When there aren't any call level issues, a 200 status code is returned with a status of "Success", "Partial Success", or "Failure". If the result is "Failure" or "Partial Success", you should also receive a collection of messages to say which items in the array failed to update a product and why. A "Failure" status means that there weren't any products that were successfully updated.

Response 400

You can get a 400, Bad Request status back for a few different reason. If this happens, you will be given a response that will tell you which of these reasons the 400 code was returned.

  • The 'ecd-subscription-key' passed in doesn't belong to any company or if the company it does belong to does not have an active account
  • Any SKU in your request appears more than once.
  • You're attempting to pass in more than 25 updates in the same call.

{
  "Message": "Any SKU in your request can appear a maximum of one time.",
  "ExceptionMessage": "Any SKU in your request can appear a maximum of one time. The following Skus were passed in more than once: \r\n54099",
  "ExceptionType": "System.InvalidOperationException",
  "StackTrace": null
}

Response 403

If you have provided invalid subscription data, you will receive a 403 FORBIDDEN response. This will happen for the following reasons:

  • The "ecd-subscription-key" was missing or it not found in the ecomdash databases
  • The "ecd-subscription-key" was found, but the company attached to it does not have a current ecomdash subscription.

{
  "Message": "The provided 'ecd-subscription-key' / 'application-id' combination is not valid or does not belong to a company with a current ecomdash subscription."
}

Response 500

If you receive a 500 code response, something went wrong on ecomdash's side while trying to process your request.

{
  "Message": "Oops, something went wrong while processing your request"
}
